1. Choose a band
Each mas band presents a yearly theme divided into sections, each with its own costume and price. Browse bands — many are in our Carnival Mas Bands directory — and pick one whose theme and vibe you love.
2. Pick your section and register
Bands launch their presentations months ahead (often in spring for a summer carnival). Choose a section based on the costume design, colour, and your comfort level, then register — popular sections sell out early.
3. Pay and get your costume
Registration usually includes your costume. Prices vary by band and section. You'll be measured or provide sizing, and collect your costume before carnival at the band's distribution.
4. Parade day
On carnival day you meet your band, get into costume, and hit the road — moving with your section to soca and steelpan through the Grand Parade. Most bands provide drinks, food, and security for registered masqueraders.
