Silhouettes Steel Orchestra

Silhouettes Steel Orchestra is a long-standing Toronto steel band founded in 1979 under the leadership of Danny Mosca. Mark Mosca now arranges for the band, which remains a strong contender in Toronto's annual Pan Alive Panorama competition and has performed at events across Canada and the United States, including the Stratford Festival. Operating as the Silhouettes Steel Orchestra and Cultural Association, the group promotes steelpan music and Caribbean culture and has added a youth steelband program to develop young pan musicians.
